In order to understand the
mission of Cheryl's Products, you must first go behind the woman: Cheryl Talley Moss. She's a woman who wears many hats. Cheryl
is the definition of today's Renaissance woman. Throwing herself 100% into what she does, passion is at the root of Cheryl's
success. Long before Cheryl was living her dream of being a published author of fiction and nonfiction and creating healthy
hair and skin care products, she was a award-winning beauty college manager/educator and salon owner. Cheryl, a native of
Gary, Indiana, has wanted to write romance suspense novels since she began reading them when she was a teenager.
Cheryl has also wanted to be an entrepreneur for as long as she can remember. In fact, she was a member of the Future Business
Leaders of America in high school. Cheryl honed her skills as a multicultural hair & skin care specialist during
her twenty-five years experience in the beauty industry. Over 29 years ago,
Ms. Moss worked as the assistant to the chemist of the research and development department at E. F. Young Jr. Manufacturing
Company, one of the oldest manufacturers of cosmetics and hair care products. Cheryl's
background also includes a broad range of management and consulting experience. In 1992, Cheryl
Talley Moss became the first African American woman to own a full-service hair salon in a shopping mall in Mesquite, Texas.
It was also the same year Ms. Moss became a breast cancer survivor. Cheryl began making her own Shea Butter Skin Cream (over 21
years ago) to soothe the severe burns she received from the results of seven weeks of radiation therapy. She believes God
spared her life for a reason, and is determined to share all the gifts and talents God has blessed her with. In 1998, Cheryl was elected to serve
as president of the Big Town Mall Board of Trade in Mesquite, Texas. She was the first African American to hold the position.
